Te's career in marketing spans more than 25 years with a variety of leading technology companies. From building start-up businesses that created new categories to driving differentiation in competitive markets, Te has played a key role in promoting strong revenue growth, loyal customers and dynamic brands.
Prior to joining Recurly, Te was VP of Marketing for MarkMonitor where she established the online brand protection category and propelled the company through a period of high growth until its acquisition by Thomson Reuters. She defined and produced the widely-referenced Brandjacking Index, a data-driven report which quantified the scale of intellectual property abuses in the digital world.
As a founding team member of Netflix, she launched the company and built a loyal customer base and a new entertainment category based on subscription commerce. She honed her skills in branding, public relations and demand generation at Zone Labs, the Internet security pioneer that was acquired by Check Point and began her technology career in product marketing at Lotus Development Corporation.
Te holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Notre Dame. In her free time, she enjoys the beaches of Santa Cruz, time with family and good stories.
