Ariel has deep expertise building sales strategies for a range of customers from SMB to the enterprise. With a focus on talent development and his experience of building world-class teams, Ariel is well-equipped to lead Sales for Recurly through rapid growth.
Ariel's keen appreciation for customer success is the foundation for building a strong Sales culture. In his previous role, as the Senior Vice President of Sales and a founding executive team member at Locbox (Accel, Interwest backed), he tackled the challenge of helping Main Street businesses successfully harness a digital marketing platform for growth and improved customer tracking and relationships. Ariel grew Locbox successfully from customer one to a company with thousands of customers nationally, putting the company on the path to a successful acquisition.
Other roles have included Managing Director for Vendini, where he led new market initiatives and European expansion of the entire music and live event division, and Business Development Director for Nady Systems, a leader in global audio gear manufacturing.
In his leisure time, Ariel is a sports fan, voracious reader, avid outdoorsman, and a lifelong student of skills. A California native, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family.
