Our Approach

In 2009, we observed an increasing trend of businesses and developers pursuing subscription-based business models. However, the available ‘solutions’ were technically outdated, complex, brittle and expensive to implement. Using our first-hand frustration as our inspiration, we designed Recurly from the ground up to be developer-friendly, business-focused and flexible to scale with the changing needs of businesses as they progress through their various stages of growth.
